Overdenture

The process of making an overdenture on two lower dental implants involves several stages. First, the dental implants are placed in the jaw, followed by a healing period of 4 months to allow the implants to fuse with the surrounding bone in a process called osseointegration. After this, healing abutments are placed on the implants, and an additional healing time of 2 weeks is allowed for the gums to heal around the abutments. Once the gums have healed, impressions are taken, and a custom overdenture that fits onto the abutments is fabricated. Finally, the overdenture is placed onto the abutments, and necessary adjustments are made to achieve a good fit and functionality.

All on X

The All-on-X dental prosthesis is a type of oral rehabilitation that involves placing a complete fixed prosthesis on four, five, or six dental implants in the jaw or maxilla. This treatment is designed to replace all missing teeth in that area. The implants are strategically placed in the jaw or maxilla to provide a solid foundation for the dental prosthesis. Regarding healing times, after implant placement, a healing period of approximately 4-6 months is required to allow the implants to integrate with the surrounding bone in a process called osseointegration. Usually, an immediate prosthesis is placed either on the implants or supported directly on the gum. As for the necessary appointments, several visits are typically required for the initial evaluation, implant placement surgery, follow-up care, impression-taking, and final prosthesis placement. The exact number of appointments may vary depending on the individual case and the specific needs of the patient.

Single Implants

A single dental implant treatment is a surgical procedure used to replace a missing tooth with a prosthetic tooth that closely resembles a natural one. The process includes, a diagnostic phase, the implant placement, healing period of 4-6 months depending on if there was a bone or tissue grafting done or not, implant connection, impression making, and delivery of the restoration.
